Let us step one more!

Continuously, I am learning how to use water colours. Today, we got Introductions and built up our plan specifically. Here are some points.

-General Instructions for Colouring-

There are some metarials which we need for learning it like 2B pencil, tube colours, felt-brush, etc. There are some tips also. Especially, I want to point out more important things(according to my own thought).

*1. Clean your brush before dipping it in the colour bottle.
*2. When you want to prepare a particular tint or shade of a colour by mixing two or more colours, make it in a quantity that would be a little more than required; for, it is very difficult to get the exact shade again, should you need more.
*3. On finishing your colour work, ----. Also, clean and dry your saucer or palette before keeping them in their places.

The *1 is the basic thing in learning water colour. I want to say the *2 is the beauty of water colour. After learning this, we/they could express our own colour or pictures depending on feelings of own by using a mixing colours. It will make us think creatively and improve our imagination. In every work, the most important thing is *3. This is the basic factor which we always have to remember when we are doing our work. Keeping it back which used by own itself is very important for others and ownself also. We learn it in our childhood. But, we usually forget it or just ignore it-'someone will keep it back..'.How amazing! Even from this activity, we could learn the basic of life. From this Introductions, we would step one more and I'll help them know about using water colours ,how to use this, and for what, why? All preparing for them is so interesting. In addition, it always makes me flutter!

Hi Dasom,

I like the detailed way you have explained how you took to the activity. It is good to be thorough with the preparations before embarking on something new. Painting, especially watercolour is such an esoteric experience, one can simply be amazed at what one creates...
So much of creativity can be expressed ..

Keep it up and do post some pictures of your efforts.

The efforts taken by you and the other teachers were worth appreciating, however it pains me to see that the efforts taken have not yet reached the students who need it. The large donation of books for the under previlaged are still lying in the same place from where you collected it on 24th September, 2010. The books are waiting for the past 25 days to reach its rightful owner .
Please see into the matter so that people will not doubt the intention of the service and come forward for such work.
