Celebrate declaring national language!

14th September is celebrated as Hindi Day. The Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devnagari script as the Official Language of the Union on 14th September 1949. Hindi was declared official language unanimously by the Constitutional Assembly on 14th September, 1949. Since then, every year, 14th September is celebrated as Hindi Day in all Central Government Offices situated in India and abroad.

I was just host, not taken on a task in this time. But, I could say as an one of members of my school. Hindi diwas was celebrated in DYPIS, Nagpur. Before celebrating, whole school prepared it to celebrate by cutting some quotations, attaching them on the wall, and decorating entrance.

Having own national language is wonderful. If a country doesn't have own language, it should borrow another countury's language and wouldn't communicate well, even between people. Old Korea did borrow a Chinese because there was no country's language. Since declared the alphabet(han-gul) by the Choson Dynasty in 1448, the day called "Hangul-nal" is celebrated each year on October 9th. Hangul Day-also called Hangul Proclamation Day or Korean Alphabet Day-is a Korean national commemorative day marking the invention and the proclamation of hangul (한글), the native alphabet of the Korean language, by King Sejong the Great. It is observed on October 9 in South Korea and on January 15 in North Korea. In North Korea, the day is called Chosun gul Day.

I celebrated this day in India even though Hindi is not my mothertongue. But, it made me to think about my nation, national language, and being of my country. All of these support me whenever I'm not in Korea. I really happy and thank for my nation's presenting itself. I would like to add one more thing, I am going to try to spread out 'Korean' in the world with informing Korea!
