My first celebratity-Annual Day

On 16th December at 6 o' clock, the first Annaul Day was held in DYPIS.
Also, this is the my first Annual Day. For this specific day, I was in charge of Vote of thanks. I've done few times about Vote of thanks. But, this time, much effort and practices were needed for speeching it. I don't hasitate in doing it. But, I was thinking how I could speech properly and how others could hear my thanks exactly.
As we could see below the chart, they say this is the Duty. Yet, I don't think it is duty at all. This is another Chance for me!

My friends and parents, specially, my english teacher Chiranjeet sir who is in charge of comparing the whole show and vote of thanks helped and corrected me a lot. I must thank for their helps.

Next time, I think I can do such thing much better thank before.

Like a new day-the 3rd visiting

 Again, I wanted to go building of Men(grandfathers' building) because I really wondered and missed them who were meeting at last time. When we entered into the building, they were looking busy with their works. After saying 'Namaste', I asked them why you are busy. They said, "We are arranging and cleaning our shelter for Christmas. New habit(cleaning) makes us be active. haha..." I wanted to help them. So, I asked some grandfathers. But, they didn't want to take help. They wanted to do it with themselves' capacity. That time, I was thinking helping wouldn't be always good thing. I could think it could be excess kindness sometimes.

 As soon as entering into there, I started asking their tranquility, situations, mood, etc. While sharing my experiences and story, I could meet two grandfathers who met me at last time. They are still remembering me very well. It was so nice for me to conversate with them again. They asked me where the instruments are and where my photos are. I couldn't but feel sorry for it. I promised again with them to show photos each other. They seemed to be so interested in technologic machine-laptop which my friends brought. Most of them wanted to hear and see it.
 They are always my teachers as well as friends. One of them advise me and encourage me to do well or to prepare for future based on their experiences. So, I really thank about their helps.

 While talking with them, all members were called to come to downstair suddenly. There was scout from one school in Nagpur. They wanted to show them their performances. We could enjoy with them by watching together. It was so nice for them to share joyment together. All of them heard them carefully. Moreover, they seemed to be happy with their performances. I could see their feeling is good. I also felt happiness because of their feeling. Also, interacting is nice when we share our feelings.



This time, I tried to speak with them in their language. So, I practiced some sentences in Hindi and wrote them down before going there. My friends helped me know some sentences. For example,

"How are you?" = Kese ho

"What did you do during Diwali festival?" = Diwali Me Apne Kya Kiya?

"I'm so happy to meet you again!" = Apnse mil Ke Achha lga.

and so on...

The supervisor of today was Anil sir who is our TOK(Theory Of Knowledge) teacher. While we were having break, he asked our reflection. Also, he asked, "Don't you think this kind of home is made by destroyed family structure?", "Are you sure there is only that reason?" He gave us hint in thinking about global issues and ourselves.

Everytime, I feel this kind of group project makes me think about many things in our life(linking to our life). I could learn one by one by having time with them. That is why I always wait for next time!

Back yard-gardening

During CAS period, I and my friends went to take care of flowers and other plants by collaboration in back yard of school. Vijayalaxmi Ma'am led us to do proper work for gardening. It hasn't been cared for a long time because of our long vacation. So, there were a lot of works which we should do for them.

At first, our real effort and work was required a lot. We had to dig dried ground and dig up all weeds which was disturbing our plants with tools. By trying to do it, I could get new ideas which I cannot get easily in any work. Then, we thinned out rotten plant, fruits, and dried flowers/stems. Even, I could try to use cutter! When we had took them before, they were so small. There were no grown plants. That's why we couldn't know what those are. But, now, we could identify which plant is what. There are tomatoes, eggplants, kind of a mum, and so on.

After digging them up completely, we had started watering. I hoped it could give them be moistured enough. But, I cannot but worry them again because we would have a long vacation. So, we couldn't care them properly. I hope rain would come for sometime. It could help them alive.

In fact, I don't like gardening much. However, after starting our school gardening, it gives me some ideas which kinds of materials are needed, what could I do for them, etc. The most important thing is it makes me getting responsibility for caring them. It's very good for me to realize the responsibility. When we realize it and have it, we could do more and better. Afterwards, I expect they would give me another mind/thinking which I have to realize to live gently with other people. Of course, I'd always attend to others' voice as well as their conditions.

Another role for 2nd newsletter

This time, I could wear another hat as I said before!
My duty which was given by Prashant sir was to cover the SAT overall information for this second newsletter. Sadly, there was no choice. At the first time, I had no idea what I sould do. I was having slight informations about SAT at first. But, as soon as starting finding informations, I could get idea. I had to find many informations on the Internet because I wasn't aware of it too much. Even spending time for newsletter was too short. I could have only 1.5days. However, I should finish my duty. I had to find good and more exact informations for covering it. It really helped me getting lots of specific informations though it was short period.

  One saying which my father told me comes across my mind as I think about 'choice' and 'opportunity'. My father always says to all of family members, "Opportunity doesn't always come to you. All of us should prepare for it to catch it. Only can Prepared person make an opportunity." I completely agree with his word. That is why I like to try every works anytime, anywhere. Also, I could try to be hard little by little to make it better than before. It also makes me think about others' condition. This is another important thing which we should think in our life. This newsletter is made by our efforts. But, this newsletter is published for others. Because of this, I could spend my effort more and more!

 Taking another role could help me get another skill. So, next time, when I have to do all things for newsletter, I could cover it one by one. I always welcome whatever I have to learn because I must learn to make by myself. Of course, many practices and efforts are needed. It would make them better than before.
